Colorless crystals or white crystalline granular, odorless, taste intensely tart
flavour ,readily soluble in water and ethanol. Citric acid is mainly used as an
acidulant ,flavoring and preservative in foods and beverage ,it is also used as
an antioxidant , plasticizer and detergent builder.
